Cool Arizona Places Grand Canyon Caverns

There is nothing better on a hot summer day than going cave exploring. Hidden away amid the high grassy plains and juniper-dotted hills of northern Arizona, Grand Canyon Caverns were formed in the limestone bed of an ancient sea that once covered the region. The caverns are now dry, meaning they support no life. The caverns went through many names until 1962, when an experiment was performed to determine their size. Red smoke bombs were set off in the caverns. Two weeks later, red smoke was spotted wafting from a crack in the Grand Canyon, 63 miles away.

Grand Canyon Caverns have been snagging Route 66 travelers almost as long as there’s been a Route 66. In 1927, a young woodcutter named Walter Peck was on his way to a poker game when he nearly fell into a hole. Peck bought the property, believing it to contain mineral wealth. When that proved false, he opened the caverns for tours. Visitors plunked down a quarter for the privilege of being lowered by rope 150 feet into a massive, pitch-black hole.

The enterprise became one of the first roadside attractions of Route 66, which had been commissioned in 1926. During the Great Depression, the Civilian Conservation Corps created a new entrance to the caverns, building wooden staircases and a swinging suspension bridge. Now more than one person at a time could enter. After these improvements, the admission price was raised to 50 cents.

Today, visitors descend in comfort via a 21-story elevator. Guided tours last about 45 minutes and cover three-quarters of a mile, moving through chambers and tunnels. Guides lead you through the dramatic depths, past flowstone formations and walls glittering with selenite crystals. Guests will meet Gertie the Ground Sloth, a 15-foot-tall statue re-created from skeletal remains found in the cave. Giant ground sloths roamed the area about 16,000 years ago. Somehow one stumbled into the caverns and became trapped. Long claw marks rake the walls where the creature tried to escape.

There’s also a large stockpile of food and water neatly stacked. The supplies were hauled in during the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1963. The rations, enough to support 2,000 people for two weeks, were never needed. But because of the cool, dry conditions of the cave the food remains edible today.

Stout-hearted guests with fat wallets can spend the night in the Cave Room, a hotel suite 220 feet below the surface. It is a comfortable platform room in a chamber 400 feet long by 200 feet wide. It has two double beds, a living area with sofa, a bathroom and other amenities for $700 per night.

The complex also includes a topside motel, restaurant, RV park, riding stables and gift shop. Cave tours cost $16.95, $12.95 for ages 5-12.

Hot and Dry Returns

According to the television weather person the return of hot and dry has returned to the valley of the sun.  Yes, the Phoenix Metro Area is about to get warmer and drier.  Now I’m not sure about you but 110 degrees Fahrenheit in the afternoon just doesn’t seem like real good news.  But to hear the weather person tell it is time to dance in the streets.

I guess I would agree that hot and dry is better than hot and muggy.  But in the same weather cast it was said that this weekend the monsoon moisture is returning to the valley.

We not only repair and replace air conditioners, we enjoy them like the rest of the valley citizens.  Without cooling from a properly running AC unit the valley would have a much smaller population.  Of course that large population we now have, has created a much bigger heat island.  More people means more air conditioning and the more houses and businesses that use air conditioning the more heat that is pumped into the surrounding atmosphere.

Using AC Units means that we have a greater need for air conditioning.  Very true and I would guess good for our business.  The harder your ac unit works the more likely you will need a qualified technician to keep it running.

Did you know they have been talking about urban heat islands since the early 1800s.  An urban heat island (UHI) is a metropolitan area that is significantly warmer than its surrounding rural areas due to human activities. The phenomenon was first investigated and described by Luke Howard in the 1810s, although he was not the one to name the phenomenon.

The temperature difference is usually greater at night than during the day, and is most apparent when winds are weak. Seasonally, UHI is seen during both summer and winter. The main cause of the urban heat island is modification of the land surface by urban development which uses materials which effectively retain heat. Waste heat generated by energy usage is a secondary contributor.

As a population center grows, it tends to expand its area and increase its average temperature. The less-used term heat island refers to any area, populated or not, which is consistently hotter than the surrounding area.

As the farm land around the Phoenix metro area has been replaced by asphalt and concrete the average daytime highs have slowly increased.

This is the reason given for the small rain showers that seem to skirt around us rather than bringing cool summer rains.

At Aaron’s Mechanical Service we want you to stay cool and comfortable all year round.  If your AC unit needs service or replacement please think of us and call at 623-388-4436 and we will come to you and solve your air conditioning repair needs.

Do Slick TV Ads Really Cost You Money?

Today, more than ever, the Air Conditioning repair and replacement business is more competitive than ever before.  You probably have noticed the television, newspaper, radio, billboards, flyers, direct mail coupons and door hangers are more in use than ever.  Each one of those cost these companies lots of money.

For a company to stay profitable they must take in more money than they spend.  If they have very large advertising budgets that means that every service call must carry a portion of that same advertising budget.  Or they must charge more for parts or the replacement AC units.

Did you know that a television ad that is played during a popular viewing time can run thousands and thousands of dollars.  If that ad brings in a100 (they wish) new customers it means that each service call carries a $100 dollar overhead before they even start their truck or pay the service technician. You know who ends up paying for that advertising overhead?  Yep, you!

It pays to do a bit of shopping to see who will do the best job and at the fairest price.  Keep in mind there can be many parts to your final bill.  It isn’t as simple as what the parts cost.  The last thing you want to happen is to spend money to have your air conditioner “fixed” only to have it fail again in just a few days.  You shouldn’t have to wait twice or three times in this Arizona summer heat to have your air conditioning properly restored.

Now it is true that for a company to stay in business they must attract new customers.  They also must retain many of their previous customers as well.  A satisfied customer will tend to be a return customer as well.

You are aware that word-of-mouth advertising is very effective as well.  A family member or friend may tell you of a company that they used that gave them a quality product and service and because you trust that person’s opinion you are likely to use that company too.  That is the most effective and more importantly the most cost effective method of bringing in new customers.

It is simple, doing a good job and at a fair price is the best advertising a company can do.  It brings in new customers and means your old customers will return as well.

We have been in the valley since 1994 and Aaron’s Mechanical Service uses our past customers as a great advertising base.  That means we aren’t forced to raise our prices to cover expensive television advertising campaigns.

At Aaron’s Mechanical Service we want you to stay cool and comfortable all year round.  If your AC unit needs service or replacement please think of us and call at 623-388-4436 and we will come to you and solve your air conditioning repair needs.

Still 90 Days Until Arizona Cools Off

Back in June 2013 we did an article on the next 120 days of brutal summer heat here in the Valley of the Sun.  This is our update and follow up to that article.

The good news is that we have survived the first 30 days and now have ninety days left.  Now is a good time to ask – How is your AC unit doing?  Is it keeping you cool and comfortable?  Does your home feel as cool as you would like it?

Perhaps even more important how are your power bills doing?  Are you paying more to stay as comfortable.  Have you sneaked your thermostat up a degree or two to save money?  Overall is the balance of your cool and your money going the way you would like it?

Right now somebody out there is realizing that their AC isn’t running and should be.  They best question is that somebody, you? You have an Air Conditioner emergency.  We are just a phone call away… call Aaron’s Mechanical Service at 623 -388-4436.  We will be there… consider us Fast, Fair and Friendly.  We work very hard at keeping our service calls just that.  Your friend in the AC service business.

Here are a few ideas to help you through the next 90 days.

1. Do what ever you can after the sun goes down
2. Spend as much time in the shade as possible
3. Spend time in a pool, yours, the neighbors or a public one
4. Cook outdoors rather than indoors.
5. Always stay hydrated… that means water. No other liquid works as well
6. Dress in loose fitting cotton clothes
7. Be 10 to 20 degrees cooler… Visit the Northern side of the state and cool off at high elevations
8. Eat spicy food. As if you're not sweating enough, right? Well, in this case, the extra perspiration will help in telling your body just how hot you are. That will enable the sweat pores to open up a bit more, allowing a natural cooling effect. It doesn't mean your best bet is an all-you-can-eat Buffalo wing joint, but a little Mexican or Indian food might indeed do the trick.

At Aaron’s Mechanical Service we want you to stay cool and comfortable all year round.  If your AC unit needs service or replacement please think of us and call at 623-388-4436 and we will come to you and solve your air conditioning repair needs.

Cool Arizona Places: Makutu’s Island

Looking for a place to cool off the kids this coming weekend – here is a place you may want to consider.  Makutu’s (Ma-coo-two’s) Island, one of Arizona’s largest indoor play places, is a trip into fantasy and adventure for children of all ages and a perfect way to beat the Arizona heat.   Designed with a tropical theme, Makutu’s is a lush, exciting indoor “island” with a roaring waterfall, towering trees, and mysterious caves.

The centerpiece of Makutu’s Island is its 25-foot indoor old oak tree.   Filled with tunnels, tubes, mole-holes, fire-poles and slides, the magnificent tree offers hours of fun and adventure.   Around the tree’s perimeter, guests will find animals carved within its extensive roots and a comical three-animal totem pole.  Within the majestic tree,  the “banana” slide is a sure thrill as it starts 25 feet into the air and winds more than 35 feet around the outside of the tree to its base.

After exploring the tree, many of Makutu’s guests find themselves in one of the three adjoining play structures including the Blue Fantasy Tree, Pirates Cove and Palm Slide.  Less rigorous than the old oak tree, these areas are perfect for the less-experienced island traveler and include tunnels, caves and a zip-line.

In addition to Makutu’s main four play areas, the island also offers its smaller guests a special toddlers area. Oscar’s Lagoon is a slower placed environment of Makutu’s smallest “castaways.”  In the Lagoon, toddlers will enjoy three small slides and soft foam blocks.

Things start to heat up on Makutu’s Island within The Inferno -- a fiery volcano that is home to the island’s video arcade.  Within The Inferno, children can try their luck on a selection of some of the “hottest” games available.

Makutu’s Island is also proud to offer the Jungle Jamboree Theatre which is home to storytelling, crafts and educational venues. The theatre is currently featuring, “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” a hands-on discovery into Polynesian music and island dancing.  When it is time for lunch or a snack, The Under-the-Sea Café, provides a full menu with many family favorites, all within a fanciful undersea-themed  environment.

Admission:  1 - 18yrs: $8.50 • 18yrs +: $3.50

Size Really Does Matter

When it comes time to replace your air conditioning size really does matters. If you underestimate your cooling needs, and you could be sweating and buying more electricity than necessary. If you buy a unit that is too big your living space may become cold and clammy.

Any AC contractor you hire should calculate the size of the cooling equipment you need by using such recognized methods as the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) Manual J. If you already have ductwork for your heating, adding a central system can cost less. But keep in mind that ducts used for heating or evaporative cooling might not be the right size or in the right location for optimal cooling.

Your next choice is the type of unit.  If you are replacing an existing unit you will probably stay with either a roof mounted or ground based choice. In a "split system," the typical design, refrigerant circulates between an indoor fan-and-coil and a matching outdoor condenser with compressor. The refrigerant cools the air, dehumidifying it in the process; a blower circulates air through ducts throughout the house.

A variation is the "heat pump," a type of system that functions as heater and cooler. When used as an air conditioner, a heat pump discharges heat from the house either into the air or deep into the ground. In the winter, a heat pump extracts heat from the ground or the air to warm the house.

Your AC Unit can help you feel cool and comfortable.  But at what price.  You say your last power bill.  Were you a bit shocked or a bit sick at your stomach?  A modern air conditioner can save you big bucks on your energy bill and be more reliable all at the same time.

Keep in mind new systems are 20 to 40 percent more efficient than minimum-efficiency models made even 10 years ago. If you're replacing an old central-air system, you can expect to pay a few thousand dollars for the cooling equipment with a capacity of about three tons (36,000 Btu/hr.). If you need ductwork installed because you're upgrading a different system, expect to pay more. Of course, the cost depends on the size and configuration of your home. Improving the system's air-filtration or humidity control capabilities is also easiest to do as part of a general upgrade.

Consider that your large or multistory house can be divided into several heating and cooling zones to improve temperature control and save energy. But this type of system is complex and has many more moving parts and controls and so may be a balance of cost savings versus the extra equipment and installation expenses.

July In Phoenix In The High Eighties?

This past weekend was sure a very strange one.  I know, it is quite common to have thunderstorms and wind damage during our July monsoon season.  And we sure had plenty of that type of typical Phoenix Metro area weather. But Sunday was even a stranger story.  Of course different parts of the valley of the sun have different high temperatures.  July 21st had highs from the mid-eighties to the very low nineties.  That is a very rare summer day for us.  Of course with the humidity it felt like it was much warmer.

So how well did your air conditioner do over the weekend?  Were you comfortable?  How often was your ac unit running and for how long at a time?  Of course you won’t know till next month how your power bill was affected.  You would think that the cooler temperatures would mean a lower bill. It really depends on how hard your AC had to work to maintain your home and keep you comfortable. What feels comfortable when the air is dry and the humidity is low is one thing.  Being cool and feeling comfortable when it is hot and muggy is quite another thing.

We would welcome your phone call so we can come and assess your ac unit.  Keeping you cool and comfortable is what we are all about.  Doing it in a fast and fair manner is our company mission.

At Aaron’s Mechanical Service we provide Air Conditioning, Cooling and Heating repair and replacement services. Our mission is not to be the most profitable nor the biggest, but the very BEST at what we do.

Can You Say Muggy?

Did you know that muggy may come from an old Nores word "mugga", meaning a drizzle.  The Merriam-Webster dictionary gives the meaning as "being warm, damp, and close" It seems strange that the word uncomfortable isn't used.  When I think muggy, I sure think it means uncomfortable. At least in late June, July and August here in the Arizona desert during monsoon season.

Can I take a moment and suggest, hot, humid, steamy weather as being so unpleasant and uncomfortable that you feel "mugged" when you step outside. That's one easy way to remember the meaning of muggy.

"It's not the heat! It's the humidity!" That's what your grandma says when she wants to complain about muggy weather. Muggy means a combination of humidity and heat that makes you sweaty and uncomfortable and long for being inside in your air-conditioning. Come summer in Arizona and the muggy dog days of summer come around you will wonder why we are told that it isn’t really that hot in Arizona because we have a “Dry Heat!”.  Trust me that 105 degrees maybe be cooler than 115 but the humid monsoon weather makes 105 seem more uncomfortable.

Some of the time in Phoenix Metro area when you look at weather report and temperature it may say 110 degrees Fahrenheit … feels like 104 degrees.  Now that it is humid it may say 105 degrees and the “Feels Like” reads 111 degrees.  That is uncomfortable.

Your AC Unit can help you feel cool and comfortable.  But at what price.  You say your last power bill.  Were you a bit shocked or a bit sick at your stomach?  A modern air conditioner can save you big bucks on your energy bill and be more reliable all at the same time.

How old is your current ac unit?  Are you planning on staying in your home for the foreseeable future?  Why have your old unit stealing money out of your wallet every month.  High power bills and repairs on top of that…

Remember a new air conditioner with a higher SEER rating will save you money every day and you won’t have any repair bills.  At least none during its warranty period (this varies from unit to unit) and that can be many years.

So when does our current monsoon season end?  Well the record for the last monsoon day is officialy September 30th.  Of course there are always exceptions, in 1984 we had 99 days with the dew point above 55 degrees. During 1984 72 of those days were consecutive.

Did you know that during our monsoon, or summer thunderstorm season, Arizona experiences more severe weather than many other states. On rare occasions, a severe storm may spawn a tornado. More often, high winds, dust and severe downpours resulting in flash floods are common monsoon occurrences.

Switching From A Swamp Cooler To An Air Conditioner

We know that you may think a swamp cooler is far less expensive to operate than a true central air conditioner.  There is no direct comparison there.

But to be fair, are you tired of sweating more and enjoying it less. Several months every year the dry Arizona air and a swamp cooler get along well and while your air will be more humid it will be cool and fairly comfortable. Here is the bad news and if you are living with a swamp cooler you know I speak the truth.  For many more weeks in our monsoon season the humidity (or dew point really) is too wet for a swamp cooler to do any true cooling at all.  They just begin blowing warm (or hot) wet air.

How many times have you said to yourself that now is the time to switch to a real air conditioner?  More than once I’ll bet.  Do you find yourself not being able to sleep because you are just too hot and sticky.

Do you wonder how much the cost will be for your home.  We can’t tell you over the phone. We need to come and see where and how your swamp cooler is mounted on your home. We need to find out what your duct work is like.

In some older homes the first buyers were given the choice between AC Units and evaporative coolers.  The installation was set-up for either type of unit.  Converting that type of home is really very easy.  It is just a matter of, remove the swamp cooler and replacing it with an air conditioner.

There may be a need for thermostat wiring and perhaps a new electrical line (from 110 to 220 volts) being run to the new air conditioner.

It will be more expensive to put in new duct work if that is needed.  Again we need to see what you have now to fairly quote you an accurate price.

The good news is that the new air conditioners with their improved efficiency (higher SEER) rating will mean the difference in cost of operation is less than you might imagine.

We are reliable, experienced, industry experts covering the last three decades with desert cooling needs.  In the Arizona desert AC repair is essential and all of our technicians have correct license status, experience and educational training.

Our air conditioning repair services are available throughout the greater Phoenix metro area and our expertly trained AC installation technicians have the knowledge and diagnostic tools to get to the root of your emergency AC problem so you can quickly get back to enjoying the cool indoor comfort in your home or.

Hot and Humid, Better Than Just Plain Hot?

Boy, it is July 11th and today we may see the high temperature be only 100 degrees Fahrenheit.  That low temp is thanks to a ton of moisture in the air.  Hot and humid is just as uncomfortable as even higher temperatures.  Our normal single digit humidity is up to 71% and the dew point is running in the 66 degree range.

Normally when we see a temperature of say 107 degrees it is not uncommon for the weather service to say it feels like 102 or 103 degrees.  At 10am today it says 88 degrees and feels like 96 degrees.

This means our famous “dry heat” is gone and we are putting up with real humid air.  That means that later today when it hits 100 degrees it will really feel like 107 degrees.  If we look at it that way we find we are still at the average temperature for mid July in Phoenix, Arizona.  That sounds a bit like they is no “Free Lunch.”  July is just plain hot in the Valley of the sun no matter how you cut it..

Those conditions mean we may say we are cooler today, but our air conditioners are working just as hard or even harder to keep you cool and comfortable as it cools and removes tons of moisture from your home.

Hot and sticky always seems more uncomfortable than hot and dry.  Our body cools itself by evaporation.  That is why we sweat.  When it is humid your body doesn’t cool as efficiently as when the air is dry.  So hot and humid days feel more uncomfortable than when our are is drier.

You may find that your setting on your thermostat will need to be turned lower so you feel as comfortable.  The end result is you are spending more money to kept cool that you would when the dry air is even hotter.

Your ac unit needs to run as well as possible to save you money.  A quick call to Aaron’s Mechanical Service at 623-388-4436 can get us out to look at your unit and make sure it is just humid air and not a real problem making you uncomfortable.

If it feels hotter inside than out that means your AC needs to be looked at.

What Does An Arizona Cooling Trend Really Mean?

This morning the Television Weatherman said that we were in for a real cooling trend and in the next few days with thunderstorms we could be as low as 103 degrees Fahrenheit.  Now I admit that I would rather be 103 degrees than 117 degrees.  One hundred and three degrees is a drop of fourteen degrees.  But very humid and 103 is still too hot to be considered comfortable.

Most places in the country 103 degrees is considered excessive heat and very dangerous.  But in the Phoenix Metro area we may not even call 103 “hot.”

I don’t know about you but we aren’t comfortable until the temperature is into the low 80s.  Most people try to keep their homes in the high 79s or very low 80s.  Unless you have good efficient air conditioning a hot humid day with temperatures running over 100 degrees you simply won’t be comfortable.

At Aaron’s Mechanical Service our job is very simple, keeping you comfortable and doing that as efficiently (think dollars and cents) as possible.  You have to be able to afford your AC Unit and the electricity it uses.  Depending on the size of your home you don’t really want your electricity bill to be north of $500.00 dollars every month.  Yes, some folks are lower than that and some are much higher.  The square footage and the insulation factor are part of that cost.  But those factors (square footage and insulation) are fixed.  Only a new more efficient AC unit can reduce your electricity costs at any given temperature setting.

By now you have heard the term SEER.  That is a way to compare air conditioners and how well they cool versus the electricity they use.  In general the higher the SEER rating the less you should spend on electricity.  But, as the SEER rating raises so does the cost of that new unit.

Take time to talk over your AC needs with the professionals at Aaron’s Mechanical Service.  Planning a purchase is much better than doing it in a panic because your old air conditioner has breathed it’s last.

Wow, I swear the Television forecaster just said were expecting a very warm day with highs in the 107 to 109 range.  I think I’ll make some lemonade.

If you need help with your air conditioning requirements, either repair or replacement please give Aaron’s Mechanical Service a call at 623-388-4436.  Fast and Fair AC Repair

Save Money With The “Right” Air Conditioner

To save money and use less energy, you’ll want to buy the right air-conditioning unit for your space. The cooling capacity of an air conditioner is measured in British thermal units, or BTUs. Too many BTUs in a small space can waste energy, while too few won’t do the job properly. A number of variables can affect the type of air conditioner you need, such as windows, ceiling height, traffic and sunlight.

Of course hiring the right Air Conditioner contractor means you don’t need to worry about getting the “right” air conditioner for your home or business.

With our local temperatures putting us in the “Excessive Heat” category over the last ten days you need to have an AC Unit that is perfect for our Arizona Desert climate.  Just a handful of places in our great country have as many days over 110 degrees as the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix Metro area.

You know the Arizona climate is different when you speak with people in other parts of the country that complain about being around 95 degrees and here we think of 95 degrees as being a very cool summer day.

As we all know during the summer, air conditioning will cause really high electric bills, and I would hate to think that you might be spending more money on electricity than you have to. With central air conditioning, here are some ways that you can take care of your air conditioner to keep it running efficiently, which will save you money.

Change your air filter every month. Changing your air filter is as important for your air conditioner as changing the oil is for your car. Put in a new filter at the start of summer, and then at least once every  month after that. If you live where it is windy or there is construction, or if you have allergies, you might need to change it more often.

Check your ductwork for leaks. You don’t want all the cold air to leak out into your attic, so check to see if you notice any holes where air escapes. There are two common types of ductwork: flexible ducts and rigid metal ducts. Flexible ductwork is often used because it’s faster to install, but it doesn’t last as long. Metal ductwork lasts longer. If you have holes or leaks in your flexible duct, it’s time to replace it. If you have a leak in metal ductwork, you can seal it with…a foil metal tape.  Never use  Duct tape it is really NOT the right product.

What We Celebrate on the 4th of July

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the National Day of the United States.

This July 4, more than any of recent memory, it is right to reflect on "the blessings of liberty" and the acts of heroism required to secure them. The events of the last ten months have reminded us that despite their fame and talents, professional athletes, pop singers, and movie stars are not genuinely "heroic." Americans now look in admiration upon those firefighters, police officers and soldiers who risk — and sometimes sacrifice — their lives for others. This is a truer heroism, both sobering and inspiring.

Even when the Declaration of Independence was signed, John Adams believed it should be commemorated in a celebratory manner. He wrote to his wife Abigail, “I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding generations, as the great anniversary festival... It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.”

On July 9, 1776, George Washington ordered his officers to read the Declaration of Independence to the troops, thereby amplifying the correctness of the American cause.

Historians have long disputed whether Congress actually signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, even though Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin all later wrote that they had signed it on that day. Most historians have concluded that the Declaration was signed nearly a month after its adoption, on August 2, 1776, and not on July 4 as is commonly believed.

In a remarkable coincidence, both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, the only signers of the Declaration of Independence later to serve as Presidents of the United States, died on the same day: July 4, 1826, which was the 50th anniversary of the Declaration. Although not a signer of the Declaration of Independence, but another Founding Father who became a President, James Monroe, died on July 4, 1831, thus becoming the third President in a row who died on this memorable day. Calvin Coolidge, the 30th President, was born on July 4, 1872, and, so far, is the only President to have been born on Independence Day.

So Your Air Conditioner Survived The Weekend

We agree it was a hot one.  The Phoenix metro area reached nearly 120 degrees this past weekend.  If you were cool it was because your AC Unit did its job.  Was it because you had prepared for this heat or were you just plain lucky.  Now there is nothing wrong with being lucky.  You just never know how long your lucky streak will last.

I would like to think that we are on the downhill run and we won’t have really hot days anymore this summer.  But that isn’t going to happen.  It is going to get hot and stay that way for many days at a time.  Unless you want to live in a swimming pool you got to make sure your AC is going to last.  A tune-up is the best way.

But, if you haven’t had luck with or good planning and your AC Unit cries “Uncle” Aaron’s Mechanical Service is the first and the last place you want to call and that phone number for AC Repair is 623-388-4436.

We can get you up and running and cooled off and comfortable as soon as possible and for a very fair price.  Our Technicians have years of experience and always choose the “right” parts.

We live on word-of-mouth referrals.  We do the job right and you tell your friends and family about us.  We have been around since 1994 serving the Valley of the Sun.

Aaron’s Mechanical Service provides a full range of Installation, Repair and Maintenance services for all major brands of air conditioners.  Our Mission is to provide excellent service to your home or business and we pride ourselves at having the best technicians around. We want our customers to know their problems end with a service call from us.

When your unit is cooling properly with clean filters, your home will have less dust, dirt, pollen, and air quality problems. Your family will be more comfortable, and will be living in a safer and healthier environment.

So who are you going to call when your AC Unit stops working? Call Aaron’s Mechanical Service at 623-388-4436
