Do Solar Panels Save Money In The Long Run

There are many companies touting the use of solar energy to save money on your home energy bills.  One type of plan involves the leasing of solar panels at a set cost and then getting a reduction in your home energy use and cost.  If this plan is not financially stable will the company be able to maintain and replace the system during the lease period and what happens to your lease payment if the company goes bust?

Uses of Solar

Home heating, hot water systems, swimming pool heating, and indoor and outdoor lighting can all be powered by solar. Solar works most efficiently in geographic regions with a lot of solar energy, like the Southwest. If you're lucky enough to generate more electricity than you personally use, in some areas you can even sell energy back to the electric grid.

Photovoltaic Systems

Residential solar power comes through photovoltaic (PV) systems. Initial installation costs depend on factors such as size, equipment specifications, permits and labor. Though prices have declined as technology has improved and become more widespread, you can still expect the price of installation in an average home to hover in the $20,000 range. You can calculate your average annual electrical costs to determine how many years it will take for you to see a return in your investment, keeping in mind that solar panels will also increase your home value. If you spend $150 per month on electricity, it would take more than 11 years to recoup an original cost of $20,000. After the payback period you are bound to reap financial benefits.

Incentives and Alternatives

Federal, state and local governments as well as utility companies periodically offer rebates and tax incentives for switching. These can take the sting out of costly installation, but programs vary greatly from year to year. A handful of states allow lease programs and power purchase agreements (PPAs) which let consumers lease equipment or use equipment installed by a private company, which then sells the solar power back to its customer. These are options for homeowners who want to use environmentally friendly energy but cannot afford the high costs of owning their own system. PPA and leasing companies generally sell energy at a cost lower than that of the local utility company, and many offer guarantees that costs will not rise.

It is lot to consider when thinking that solar is the way to go to save money.  For now we want you to think of Aaron’s Mechanical Service when it comes to repair and replacement of your current AC unit.

Saving Money Starts With Proper Maintenance

There is no question that a typical Arizona resident wants three things from their air conditioner.

• They want it to be reliable.

• They want it to provide really cool air.

• They want it to do both of those while using the least amount of electricity.

We both understand and want the same results from the units we care for.  While we say it over and over it is very hard to understand why “doing proper maintenance” doesn’t sink in.  This summer and last we have had dust storm after dust storm roll through the Valley of the Sun.

For your AC unit to work properly and efficiently it must be able to breath.  That is exchange the heat that is in your house out to the air surrounding your air conditioner.  Everyone knows that your compressor is what causes the cooling but many don’t know that the “heat exchanger” is a radiator like device that brings the cool air into your home and the cool air and the speed of that air is what provides the cooling of your home.

If that is clogged even a little bit your ac unit workers harder to get it’s job done and that costs you money.

How long has it been since you have had your AC unit serviced or cleaned?  Is your unit clogged?  Is the air coming from your vents moving as fast as it used to?  Is the air coming out as cool as it used to be?

As the air conditioner gets plugged up from the dust storms, leaves, feathers or from neglecting your air filters the performance changes very slowly but it changes and over time your AC unit is working harder and harder to keep you cool and at the same time it is wasting your hard earned money.

If you haven’t had your unit checked in the last two years you are throwing away your money with a unit that is not operating as well as it can.  It could even be shortening it’s overall lifetime.

At  Aaron’s Mechanical Service we want you to have nice cool air at the lowest possible cost.  Let us help you save money. Get your AC unit checked now.  Give us a call at 623-388-4436.

Finding an Air Conditioner Contractor Before You Need One

Are you one of the people who have recently moved into your home or are packing and waiting for your closing date!

Is this is your first home or are you new to the area, odds are that, here in Arizona you haven't established yourself with a good Air Conditioning Contractor. Hopefully your walk-through inspection found your HVAC system operating properly before you closed on your home, so it's really not a concern now, or is it?

What, you mean you haven't thought of that? Let's see....you already found a great Doctor, perhaps several, you've located all the necessities of everyday life....a Dry Cleaner, Gardener, Plumber, Painter, Auto Mechanic, Cleaning Service, Pharmacy, Grocer, Bakery, Veterinarian for your pet, but the thought of finding a Contractor to call 'when' (not if) you need service for the comfort systems in your home hasn't crossed your mind?

Contractors are used to being the 'out of sight; out of mind' people...until  needed! Murphy’s Law states that your Air Conditioner will break down at the worst possible time and probably on the hottest day of the year (or at least it will feel that way).

They are use to dealing with thousands of homeowners and have yet to be as surprised or flustered as a new homeowner might be, when emergency service is needed. And, sadly, contractors are also used to having customers sound unhappy when they call. We suppose it's no fun to say "I'm waiting for my HVAC Service Company to come to my house", unlike the thrill in one's voice when the Home Designer is coming, or the new furniture is being delivered. Alas, Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors are really nice people.....Really, we are! And, we try awfully hard to make homeowners feel comfortable.

Here are some suggestions:

Search the internet for a company that services your area.

Read testimonials and reviews

Call and introduce yourself.

Tell the owner or office staff that you're new to the area (perhaps a friend or neighbor has recommended the company) and schedule a routine maintenance for your system so that when the time comes that you're in need of service in a hurry, you've already made the introduction and are comfortable with the company.

It's stressful to locate a repair company when you realize that your Central Air Conditioning isn't working, or your Furnace.

Water dripping? Have a professional plumber check it out before it becomes a major leak. The timing is never opportune, but with Aaron’s Mechanical Service  we are here to help.

AZ Places: Tombstone

Most people think of the Gun Fight at the O.K. Corral and Boot Hill when they think of Tombstone Arizona but this iconic western town is much more than that.  It’s Bird Cage Salon was a feature on the SyFy TV show Ghost Hunters and the local paper is the oldest in Arizona.

Tombstone Arizona. That name means many things to many people. It creates images of gunfights and dusty streets, whiskey and Faro games, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and a plethora of old western movie scenes. But what many folks don't realize is that Tombstone AZ is a real town with real inhabitants who have lived here throughout its history and still do today. That is part of the reason Tombstone has been called "The Town Too Tough to Die"

Walk the very same streets in Tombstone (or ride the colorful trolley) that Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp, Johnny Ringo, Ike Clanton and a host of other Western Legends walked over 130 years ago. You can feel and even smell the history here! This is the most authentic Western Town left in the United States today!

Whether you're planning your first trip to Tombstone, or you've been here many times, you'll find all the information you need to know for a fun, educational and history filled visit to the "Town Too Tough To Die ", Tombstone Arizona!

Practically everything you'll need to know for a trip back in time to the Old West is on the web site http://www.tombstoneweb.com. Also, don't forget to stop by the Tombstone Visitor and Information Center on 4th and Allen Streets to pick up a free map of Tombstone and tourist information on all of Arizona.

Tombstone is in Cochise County, Arizona, United States, founded in 1879 by Ed Schieffelin in what was then Pima County, Arizona Territory. It was one of the last wide-open frontier boomtowns in the American Old West.

Looking for a place full of fun and history then Tombstone is a great place to visit.  It is generally 10 degrees cooler than the Phoenix Metro area so you can cool off while having fun.  If you need to cool off your house give Aaron’s Mechanical Service a call at 623-388-4436 and find out how we can help.

Cooking Smart Saves On Energy Costs

During the summer you can save money on your AC costs just by cooking smart.

Use your microwave oven, countertop appliances or outdoor grill for cooking instead of the oven or stove. All three of those options will save money in two ways.  You don’t use as much electrical energy and you don’t heat up your house as much with your microwave oven, countertop appliances or outdoor grill.  That heat you DON’T have to remove from your house means you Air Conditioner doesn’t have to run as long and that can be a big $avings.

What says summer better than burgers and hot dogs? Instead of using your oven or stove, which can generate heat on an already hot day, fire up the outdoor grill for cooking. You can also use your microwave or other countertop appliances in place of the stove or oven.

Most microwaves will cook a standard hotdog in 25 seconds, and a bun length hotdog in 30 seconds.

If you cook a hot dog in a microwave too long you get a hot dog that split or burst and that is not a good looking hot dog.  They say we eat first with our eyes.

That shorter cooking time is a large savings over the five minute (after the water reaches a boil) cooking by boiling hotdogs on a typical kitchen stove.  The waste heat from the boiling water and electrical element is even more heat your AC needs to remove.

Many people are sure that their hot dogs and hamburgers that are cooked on an outdoor grill just plain taste better than any cooking you can do on any stove.  Better taste and no heating of your indoor space.

If you question the cost of running a propane grill versus your stove cook top you are correct that there is a difference.  Cooking a group burgers on the grill should cost about 0.45 cents and cooking the same on an electric stove would be around 0.20 cents.  You still have to figure in the cost of the additional work your AC unit needs to do in order to cool your house back down.

Taste vs costs, the call is up to you.  Speaking of calls if you have an AC problem you should be calling Aaron’s Mechanical Service a call at 623-388-4436.

Future Energy Saving Ideas - Geothermal

Geothermal Heat Pump Technology

A geothermal heat pump (GHP) system consists of one or more water-to-air heat pump units inside the building, which are connected by a common water distribution loop to an earth-coupled heat exchanger (or "ground loop") outside the building. A typical system arrangement for a school or other institutional or commercial building is shown below.

The building interior heat pump units typically range in capacity from 1 to 10 tons, but some unitary equipment is available in capacities up to 50 tons. In a school situation, an interior heat pump may condition one large space such as a gym, cafeteria, or auditorium, or it may condition a “zone” of individual classrooms.

Since each room or zone of rooms has its own dedicated heat pump unit, it is possible for building occupants to adjust the thermostat setting of each different space as appropriate to its activity or location. For example, a GHP system can maintain a lower temperature in a gym full of highly active students while at the same time maintaining a warmer temperature for students seated in a darkened auditorium.

Before considering this and other advantages of GHP systems for homes, businesses and schools, it will be helpful to read through this section of the Web site to learn exactly how geothermal heat pumps work. Since seasonal variations in underground temperature strongly influence the selected configuration and design of the earth-coupled heat exchanger, the page on soil thermal properties should be read before reading the page on ground loops. The last page in this section explains the mechanics of heat pumps, and how these units interact with the ground loop to provide space heating and cooling, as well as domestic water heating.

In the future you may have an a chance to make a purchase for your home that will apply this type of heat pump to your home but for now consider Aaron’s Mechanical Service when you want your current unit repaired or replaced.

Arizona Places: Jerome, Arizona

"America's Most Vertical City" and "Largest Ghost Town in America".

Located high on top of Cleopatra Hill (5,200 feet) between Prescott and Flagstaff is the historic copper mining town of Jerome, Arizona. Once known as the wickedest town in the west, Jerome was a copper mining camp, growing from a settlement of tents to a roaring mining community. Four disastrous fires destroyed large sections of the town during its early history, resulting in the incorporation of the City of Jerome in 1899.

Founded in 1876, Jerome was once the fourth largest city in the Arizona Territory. The population peaked at 15,000 in the 1920's. The Depression of the 1930's slowed the mining operation and the claim went to Phelps Dodge, who holds the claim today. World War II brought increased demand for copper, but after the war, demand slowed. Dependant on the copper market, Phelps Dodge Mine closed in 1953. The remaining 50 to 100 hardy souls promoted the town as a historic ghost town. In 1967 Jerome was designated a National Historic District by the federal government. Today Jerome is a thriving tourist and artist community with a population of about 450.

Jerome's personality has changed dramatically in the past 30 years. Once a thriving mining camp between the late-1880s and early 1950s, Jerome is now a bustling tourist magnet and artistic community with a population of about 450. It includes a modicum of artists, craft people, musicians, writers, hermits, bed and breakfast owners, museum caretakers, gift shop proprietors and fallen-down-building landlords.

Make Jerome your destination for your next trip to Arizona. Being centrally located, a stay at one of Jerome's bed and breakfasts, inns or hotels is perfect for a home base to explore the entire northern Arizona region from. Drive from Jerome to Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Sedona, Prescott, Flagstaff and even the Grand Canyon and then return to Jerome to relax for the evening and dine at one of the fine restaurants in Jerome. Then just relax to the peaceful surroundings that no other city in Arizona can offer.

Green Lawns and Shade Trees Reduce Cooling Costs

The proper use of “green” around your home helps decrease air conditioning costs.

Here are some useful references:  According to the California Energy Commission: Planting the correct trees, shrubs, vines and groundcover can make your home both warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. In fact, the right type of tree can reduce your summer cooling costs by 20 to 40 percent!

Computer models devised by the U.S. Department of Energy predict that the proper placement of only three trees will save an average household between $100 and $250 in energy costs annually.

The cooling effect of a properly watered average size lawn is equal to about 9 tons of air conditioning.

You want shade on the east, south and west side of your home to block the heat from solar gain.  Mature trees not only provide shade but actually cool the air around the tree and your home.  Planting trees in key places can affect sun absorption and other factors, because the orientation of your home can't be changed.

The same affect of cooling the air comes from your lawn,  The ground cover reduces the air temperature and reduces the amount of heat reflected against your house compared to desert landscaping, concrete or asphalt. So you have cooler air and reduced solar gain from a green lawn.  While they may a partial offset from the cost of watering and maintaining a lawn there is still a significant savings from the lawn’s effects.

Landscaping is just one of the ways to improve energy efficiency. Shades and awnings can help cut energy costs. Lighting is also important. An outside light, either on a porch or a post, is one of the five most-used lights in a home.

What Does The Energy Star Logo Mean

Products carrying this symbol provide a way for businesses and consumers to save money, while at the same time, protect our environment. Since its initial onset, the government has partnered with other industry members, to promote and expand the scope of this project to include, not only major appliances, but also new homes and buildings.

There have also been many major advances in technologies, leading to such energy savers as LCD lighting and 'stand-by' product features. Research and development is still on-going, as manufacturers strive to deliver low cost energy products.

A major appliance which sports the Energy Star® label, is not necessarily a better product than a comparable model, but in order to be rated Energy Star, it must meet very strict energy efficiency guidelines as set out by that program.

When purchasing appliances, watch for the Energy Star rating and energy guides. An appliance labeled 'Energy Efficient' may be low energy rated, but may not meet the standards to be an Energy Star product.

Energy guide ratings for appliances will show their typical usage in kWhs per year - the lower the energy number, the more cost efficient it is to run.

Appliances carrying the Energy Star ® rating typically are 10 to 20% more energy efficient than non-rated models. This means, you'll not only save money, but help your environment as well.

There is another rating that consumers should pay attention to. The CEE tier I, II or III rating shown on new washers, dishwashers, refrigerators or air conditioners means that the appliance is even more efficient. While the CEE rating does not replace an Energy Star rating, it complements it and denotes an appliance that is super efficient.

So if you are replacing an appliance in your home check-out the money you can save with that new purchase.

If you are looking to save money with a new Air Conditioner for your home or business please call Aaron’s Mechanical Service at 623-388-4436 and see how we can help you.

Do Rolling Shutters Save Money On My Energy Bills?

During summer, a south-facing window can let in up to 1,400 BTU per square foot of glass area per day. For a large window, this can make your air conditioner run much longer and use substantially more electricity. During winter, a significant amount of heat is lost outdoors through the large window, especially on cold nights.

During summer, keep the rolling shutter either fully or partially closed depending upon how sunny it is. During spring and fall, I keep it fully open except when there is a severe storm forecast.

Rolling shutters operate similarly to an old roll-top desk with slats. A housing, which holds the slats when the shutter is open, is mounted above the window. The ends of the horizontal slats slide in a vertical track mounted on each side of the window opening. For my seven-foot-high window, the size of the housing box is only seven inches square so it fits under the soffit.

When ordering a rolling shutter, you must first select the type of slats. The three basic types are PVC, foam-filled aluminum and extruded aluminum.

For most residential shutters, lightweight PVC and foam-filled aluminum are adequate. They are strong enough to protect the window glass and provide good insulation, yet they are easy to open and close.

Most PVC and foam-filled slats have slots for light punched in the flanges between the slats. In the fully closed position, the slots are blocked.

If you choose to install rolling shutters you will have reduced additional heat load that would normally be radiated through your windows you still need a well running and proper HVAC system to save you money and keep you cool and comfortable.

AZ Places – Cool Kartchner Caverns

Kartchner Caverns State Park

Experience a stunning limestone cave in Southeastern Arizona that boasts world-class features. This “live” cave, discovered in 1974, is host to a wide variety of unique minerals and formations. Water percolates from the surface and calcite formations continue to grow, including stalactites dripping down like icicles and giant stalagmites reaching up from the ground. Tour guides will unveil this fascinating underground landscape during a memorable 1½ hour tour.

The Discovery Center features museums exhibits, a large gift shop, regional displays, theater, and educational information about the caverns and the surrounding landscape. There are also campgrounds, hiking trails, lockers, shaded picnic areas, a deli, an amphitheater, and a hummingbird garden.

Cave Discovery

It wasn't until February 1978 that Tenen and Tufts told the property owners, James and Lois Kartchner, about their amazing discovery. During the four years of secret exploration, the discoverers realized that the cave's extraordinary variety of colors and formations must be preserved.

The cave's existence became public knowledge in 1988 when its purchase was approved as an Arizona State Park. Extraordinary precautions have been taken during its development to conserve the cave's near-pristine condition.

Heat Stress Safety – What To Do Avoid It!

Well it is all over the news and the country.  This year has been the hottest so far and is breaking records all over the US.

When the AC goes out and it is the hottest day of the year or at least feels like it what can you do while waiting for the AC repairman to show up?

Heat stress is a condition created when a person is exposed to extreme heat. There are several levels of heat stress ranging from heat rash to the most severe condition - heat stroke.

Close your blinds. Close your blinds and curtains during the day to block the sun's heat. As soon as the sun hits your building in the morning, close all windows and keep exterior doors and windows closed throughout the hottest part of the day. Do this until night falls and it's cool enough to open the windows for the night.

Open the windows at night. Open selective windows so that cooler night air is blowing in throughout the evening. Leaving all interior doors open (including closets and kitchen cabinets) helps, too. If you leave them closed, they store the daytime heat and your house won't cool off as much at night.

Be sure to get up and close the windows and blinds as soon as the sunlight hits your house. This can be as early as 5 or 6 in the morning in some areas.

Make a DIY air conditioner. Put a metal bowl of ice in front of a fan, and adjust the fan so that the air is blowing over the ice. Or, use one or more 2 liter bottles and fill them mostly full of water, freeze them, then place them in a large bowl (to catch dripping water). Position a fan to blow on them. As the ice in the bottles melts, the air cools around them. The fan will blow that air at you. The water in the bottles can be frozen overnight and used again repeatedly.

Turn off all heat sources. Don't use the stove or oven to eat. Eat cold food, or use the microwave. Incandescent light bulbs also create heat - switch to compact fluorescents or LEDs. Turn off your lamps and your computer when you're not using them. You should also turn off your TV since it gives off a lot of heat, as well as some plug-in power adapters.
Avoid steam. During the day, don't take a hot shower, wash dishes and clothes or cook until after dark. Make sure the door gasket seals on your oven, washer and dishwasher are in good shape and have no breaks or rips.

If possible go to a friends or neighbors until the AC repair can be made.

How Programmable Thermostats Save Money

Did You Know?

The average household spends more than $2,200 a year on energy bills - nearly half of which goes to heating and cooling. Homeowners can save more than $180 a year by properly setting their programmable thermostats and maintaining those settings.

A programmable thermostat helps make it easy for you to save by offering four pre-programmed settings to regulate your home's temperature in both summer and winter - when you are home, asleep, or away.

The pre-programmed settings that come with programmable thermostats are intended to deliver savings without sacrificing comfort. Depending on your family's schedule, you can see significant savings by sticking with those settings or adjust them as appropriate for your family schedule.

The key is to establish a program that automatically reduces heating and cooling in your home when you don't need as much. Use the programmable thermostat calculator to see what you can save with set-back temperatures that work for your family.

The basic idea is to have the thermostat remember to change the settings so when your home is unoccupied the temperature can be adjusted to a money saving level.  Before you return the settings change to make the cooling or heating level correct again.

Have your thermostat properly installed – so the proper and safe installation of your programmable thermostat works properly with your HVAC unit.  Unless you are sure you know how, you should call a certified HVAC contractor to handle the installation for you.

Independence Day – Fun Facts, History & Trivia about the 4th of July

Here are some Independence Day fun facts, history and trivia.  On July the 4th, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress. Thereafter, the 13 colonies embarked on the road to freedom as a sovereign nation. This most American of holidays is traditionally celebrated with parades, fireworks and backyard barbecues across the country. As you send out your July 4th party invitations, take a minute to think about how much you really know about what we are celebrating.

The major objection to being ruled by Britain was taxation without representation. The colonists had no say in the decisions of English Parliament.

In May, 1776, after nearly a year of trying to resolve their differences with England, the colonies sent delegates to the Second Continental Congress. Finally, in June, admitting that their efforts were hopeless; a committee was formed to compose the formal Declaration of Independence. Headed by Thomas Jefferson, the committee also included John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Philip Livingston and Roger Sherman. On June 28, 1776, Thomas Jefferson presented the first draft of the declaration to Congress.

Betsy Ross, according to legend, sewed the first American flag in May or June 1776, as commissioned by the Congressional Committee.

Independence Day was first celebrated in Philadelphia on July 8, 1776.

The Liberty Bell sounded from the tower of Independence Hall on July 8, 1776, summoning citizens to gather for the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence by Colonel John Nixon.

June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress, looking to promote national pride and unity, adopted the national flag. “Resolved: that the flag of the United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation.”

The first public Fourth of July event at the White House occurred in 1804.

Before cars ruled the roadway, the Fourth of July was traditionally the most miserable day of the year for horses, tormented by all the noise and by the boys and girls who threw firecrackers at them.

The first Independence Day celebration west of the Mississippi occurred at Independence Creek and was celebrated by Lewis and Clark in 1805.

On June 24, 1826, Thomas Jefferson sent a letter to Roger C. Weightman, declining an invitation to come to Washington, D.C., to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. It was the last letter that Jefferson, who was gravely ill, ever wrote.

Both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on Independence Day, July 4, 1826.

The 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence did not sign at the same time, nor did they sign on July 4, 1776. The official event occurred on August 2, 1776, when 50 men signed it.

The names of the signers of the Declaration of Independence were withheld from the public for more than six months to protect the signers. If independence had not been achieved, the treasonable act of the signers would have, by law, resulted in their deaths.

Thomas McKean was the last to sign in January, 1777.

The origin of Uncle Sam probably began in 1812, when Samuel Wilson was a meat packer who provided meat to the US Army. The meat shipments were stamped with the initials, U.S. Someone joked that the initials stood for “Uncle Sam”. This joke eventually led to the idea of Uncle Sam symbolizing the United States government.

In 1941, Congress declared 4th of July a federal legal holiday. It is one of the few federal holidays that have not been moved to the nearest Friday or Monday.

Thirty places nationwide with “liberty” in their name. Liberty, Missouri (26,232) boasts the highest population of the 30 at 26,232. Iowa has more of these places than any other state at four: Libertyville, New Liberty, North Liberty and West Liberty.

Eleven places have “independence” in their name. The most populous of these is Independence, Missouri, with 113,288 residents.

Five places adopted the name “freedom.” Freedom, California, with 6,000 residents, has the largest population among these.

There is one place named “patriot” — Patriot, Indiana, with a population of 202.

And what could be more fitting than spending the day in a place called “America”? There are five such places in the country, with the most populous being American Fork, Utah, with 21,941 residents.

Happy Fourth Of July

Central Air Conditioning Preventive Maintenance

One questions people often ask is “Why should I perform preventive maintenance on my central air conditioning?”  We have chosen an article by Goodmans, a respected manufacturer of heating and cooling equipment to cover that basic question.

Heating and cooling systems work incredibly hard to perform their functions for your household. The constant stopping, starting and continual operation can wear down a machine quickly and unexpectedly if the proper care and maintenance is delayed. However, by performing preventive maintenance, or servicing your system regularly, you can maximize the lifecycle of your heating or cooling unit and guard against many unexpected failures

Preventive maintenance inspections performed on a regular basis can uncover leaks, rust, rot, soot, frayed wires and corroded electrical contacts.

What Equipment Requires Preventive Maintenance?

At least once a year, we suggest that homeowners schedule a professional tune-up for the central heating and cooling system in their home.

Inspections on boiler and furnace systems should include ductwork, pipes, dampers, valves, the chimney, registers, radiators, pumps, blowers, fuel lines, the gas meter, oil tank and every part of the actual furnace and boiler.

Meanwhile, heat pump and air conditioning unit inspections should also include inspections of the fan, compressor, indoor coils, outdoor coils and refrigerant lines.

At Aaron’s Mechanical Service we want you to stay cool even in the hottest parts of an Arizona summer.  If your AC unit needs service or replacement please think of us and call at 623 -388-4436 and we can come to you and solve your air conditioning service needs.
