How Can Google Help Lower Utility Bills In Phoenix AZ?

You know that here at Aaron’s Mechanical Services we are big fans of using programmable thermostats to help control energy use and utility bills here in the Valley of the Sun.  Using a programmable thermostat can really be effect in lowering your APS or SRP bills during the summer cooling season in the Phoenix Metro Area.

In recent news Google has purchased what is arguably the best of the breed, the Nest smart thermostat.

Google has just purchased Nest Labs, the maker of the Nest Learning Thermostat and Protect smoke detector, for $3.2 billion in cash. According to a Google press release, Nest will continue to operate independently, said co-founder and CEO Tony Fadell; co-founder Matt Rogers will also make the move to Google. While the transaction is subject to the usual regulatory review, Google says it expects the sale to close within the next few months. Google Ventures had already invested tens of millions of dollars in Nest, so the company has been on Mountain View's radar for some time now.

It's not yet clear exactly how Google plans to use Nest, but the company obviously sees it as an important part of its future. A combination of Nest's home solutions coupled with Google's language recognition could give Google its strongest path yet into your home.

Nest has published a Q&A with Rogers that reveals some detail on how this new partnership will change things with the company. For starters, Nest confirms that it'll continue to support Apple and iOS products going forward — not a huge surprise, given that Google's been putting out solid versions of its apps and services for iOS for some time now. Warranties will stay the same, and Nest products will still continue to be sold at retail (though there's no word on whether or not they'll be on sale at Apple stores).

Unsurprisingly, the company is remaining coy about how it'll integrate with Google's existing product lineup. "Nest's product line obviously caught the attention of Google and I'm betting that there's a lot of cool stuff we could do together, but nothing to share today," writes Rogers. He did address any potential concerns about Nest's customer data being opened up to Google for advertising or other purposes.

Google is a global technology leader focused on improving the ways people connect with information. Google’s innovations in web search and advertising have made its website a top internet property and its brand one of the most recognized in the world.

We hope that the end result of all this high tech and high finance will be a better product to help homeowners keep their utility bills under control.

Aaron’s Mechanical Services wants you to stay comfortable all year round.  If your furnace, heating system or HVAC unit needs service or replacement please think of us and call at 623-388-4436 and we will come to you and solve your Heating Unit service needs.

Cool Arizona Places: Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park

Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park is the place to discover the intricate beauty and many faces of Arizona's oldest and largest botanical garden. Featured are plants from the world's deserts, towering trees, captivating cacti, sheer mountain cliffs, a streamside forest, panoramic vistas, many natural habitats with varied wildlife, a desert lake, a hidden canyon, specialty gardens and more.

The Arboretum was founded in the 1920s by mining magnate Col. William Boyce Thompson. In 1917 Col. Thompson served as co-leader of a Red Cross mercy mission to Russia, where he came to understand the importance of plants as the ultimate source of a large portion of mankind's food, clothing, and shelter. It was then, that he determined to use his great wealth to improve the use of plant resources. The Arboretum is one of his legacies.

Encompassing 323 acres, the Arboretum is Arizona's oldest and largest botanical garden. It was the first purely botanical institution in the inter-mountain states. The Arizona State Parks Board entered into agreement with the Boyce Thompson Arboretum Board and the University of Arizona in 1976 to cooperatively manage the Arboretum.

Saving Money On Utility Bills in Phoenix AZ

For the Valley of the Sun February has been a month with little or no need for either heating or cooling expenses. It is nice to save money on our utility bills and when the temperature is so moderate that you need neither heating or cooling and you only use electricity for lighting and cooking (OK, maybe water heating too).  If you are a Southwest Gas company customer you sure haven’t needed much natural gas for heating as even our nighttime temperatures have been moderate as well.

Now the Phoenix Metro area can look forward to our Spring and Summer seasons. You know that if your air conditioner or HVAC system is tuned-up and running efficiently you can save money even when we are running daytime high temperatures at one hundred degrees Fahrenheit and above (yes even well above 100 degrees).

Your AC unit will use far less electricity when it is running at peak efficiency. That can happen when you keep your’s serviced every year.

A very important aspect to consider is the age of your air conditioner.  If the AC unit on your home is more than ten years old you may want to consider a newer more efficient one. You will hear the term SEER and the higher the SEER number the less electricity you will use to keep your home cool.

The cost benefit trade-off is the cost of the new unit versus how much money you will save so you can understand the time till the payoff really starts to save you money.

Energy Star models use 15% less energy than other new models, and up to 30% less than models ten years old.

Whatever system you get, look at the energy ratings (SEER for central systems and the EER rating for window units). The higher, the better. SEER 13 are 30% more efficient than SEER 10.

In the Phoenix Metro Area Air Conditioning can be 70-80% of your summer electric bill, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. Consider these two ideas to help reduce your summer cooling costs.

Reduce Heat From Lighting:
Lights create a lot of heat which your AC system has to remove. Replace your lights with compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs, which use 75% less energy and create 70-90% less heat at the same time. Regular lights give off 10% light and 90% heat, while CFL's give off 90% light and 10% heat.

Reduce Heat From Cooking:
Any heat you create from cooking has to be removed by your AC. Reduce cooking heat by using a microwave oven. (Microwaves are cheaper to operate than gas or electric ovens anyway.)

Aaron’s Mechanical Services wants you to stay comfortable all year round.  Most important we want you to spend the least amount of money possible while you stay comfortable. If your furnace, heating system or HVAC unit needs service or replacement please think of us and call at 623-388-4436 and we will come to you and solve your Heating Unit service needs.

Aaron’s Mechanical Services Thinks Spring Has Already Arrived

The last time I checked the season we call Winter ran from December 21st to March 20th. Spring doesn’t start until March 21st.  That date is still about four weeks away.  But with the temperatures running in the mid to high eighties for the last three weeks you can understand why we might think that spring arrived about seven to eight weeks early.

What constitutes spring? At Aaron’s Mechanical Services we think that the daytime high temperature is a good way to measure the difference between winter in the Phoenix Metro Area and spring in the Valley of the Sun.

If we ask the National Weather Service for an average daytime Winter high temperature and we find they list 66 degrees Fahrenheit in December, 67 degrees in January, 71 degrees in February and 77 degrees Fahrenheit in March.  In fact they list just 85 degrees as an average daytime high in April.  Normally the average daytime high in Phoenix doesn’t reach the high eighties or low nineties until early May.

So based on daytime high temperatures we reached our average springtime highs in early February.  Even worse the plants, pollen and flying insects reacted to those high temperature at the same time. In fact we are about two months ahead this year related to normal or average temperatures.

So now we think you may want to have your air conditioner serviced rather than waiting until late April or May.  We think that if this weather pattern holds we will be turning on the AC sometime in March.

Even though it may be less than a year since your HVAC was serviced you should still have a tune-up or service call before your first use this spring. Running your air conditioner when it has a problem can cause hundreds of dollars in damage that could have been avoided with a simple and inexpensive tune-up.

Could the Phoenix Metro area be above one hundred Fahrenheit in April in 2014?  Based on our already above average temperatures it sure seems possible.  In fact it has happened before.

The average day we reach one hundred degrees May 13th. If you are a real weather buff you know that the record for the earliest day Phoenix reached one hundred degrees Fahrenheit was on March 26th 1988

Did You Know?
It seems, at times, that 100 degree weather and Phoenix go together like 'mom' and 'apple pie'. However, this is a bit of a misconception, as the mercury stays in double-digits for the bulk of the year. In fact, in 1913, Phoenix only registered 48 days where the mercury hit 100 degrees or higher. Nevertheless, there is a lot of interest by the public and media in 100 degree statistics, especially with regards to the average first 100 degree reading at Sky Harbor.

Cool Arizona Places: Verde Canyon Railroad

As “hot” (OK, warm, or whatever you call 90 degrees Fahrenheit in February) as the Valley of the Sun has been (and is going to be) are you thinking about going to the northern part of the state this weekend?  There is a great attraction you may want to check out. Consider the Verde Canyon Railroad.

One of their marketing slogans is; Take a ride on Arizona’s longest-running nature show.

Passengers enjoy this four-hour scenic train ride in first-class style aboard renovated passenger coaches and open-air viewing cars pulled by vintage locomotives. A ride on the historic Verde Canyon Railroad route from Clarkdale to the ghost ranch of Perkinsville and back into the OTHER grand canyon in Arizona is an unforgettable experience.

The Verde Canyon is often called 'Arizona's other Grand Canyon' with spectacular canyon scenery on a train trip that offers visual feasts including seasonal spring flowers, fall foliage and hundreds of migratory birds, such as the majestic bald eagle.

From the moment you step foot on one of our meticulously refurbished train cars you and your family will feel like you've been transported to a simpler, more leisurely time before all the distractions and annoyances of our modern world. Breathe deep, order a drink and relax as you glide along on a 20 mile journey through 100 years of history while still enjoying modern creature comforts like climate control, comfortable seating and thoughtful decor.

As if their daily trips up the Canyon weren't fun enough, their special events really make for an experience your friends and family won't soon forget. In fact, their events sell out regularly and many of their guests are return visitors from all over the world. After you experience one of the Verde Canyon's incredible events first hand you'll wonder why you ever settled for a chocolate, wine or a beer festival on solid ground! Don't miss out on the fun, check out their events page today!

Simply put, Verde Canyon gives you an exclusive look at what Sedona and the Verde Valley would have looked like before all the people, construction, and traffic got in the way of the beauty. Watch from your window or the open air viewing cars as bald eagles, blue heron, and some of seventy-four other species of animals that fly, swim, and interact in the picturesque setting they occupied for many thousands of years.

Their classic FP7 locomotives, 2 of only 10 still in existence today, pull you along a red rock valley teaming with wildlife that is so picturesque and verdant, it's no wonder they call it Verde Canyon.

Aaron’s Mechanical Services Talks Staying Cool In February

We would normally be talking about staying warm this time of year.  But over the last few days we need to think about staying cool.

As you may noticed we have shifted from telling our friends and customers about heating and have started talking about cooling. We all know that Arizona (at least the southern part of the state) is a nice warm place to live.  During the winter months we have many visitors join us from the coldest states across the nation.

But the last week or so we have been running ten plus degrees over our normal warm winter days. From the mid-eighties to ninety degrees Fahrenheit it is downright warm even for the Phoenix Metro Area.

One of our winter visitors even mentioned the AC words.  He said the bitter cold and heavy snows are keeping him here in Arizona.  But his mobile home (actually an RV) is getting warm (OK, hot) for him.

The National Weather Service says we are running at least ten degrees above normal.  That sure has reduced our heating costs these last two weeks or so. It looks like that in a few days we will drop into the mid-seventies for a few days and then we will go back up to the low eighties.

Of course March could bring us a few colder days.

Did You Know?

On the night of Saturday January 13th 2007, the South Western US was visited by an extremely cold arctic air mass. In California, a great deal of frost damage was done to the citrus crop. Here in Phoenix, temperatures were the lowest they had been in 18 years, and all but the largest and most protected ficus nitida trees, a very common landscape plant, were killed. Even oleanders around town were frozen back, which is very unusual. Unfortunately, the weather forecast was only predicting lows at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix of 32 F, so many people were taking by surprise when the temperatures in the urban areas dropped even lower. Some desert areas were as cold as 18 degrees Fahrenheit.

An example of just how cold it was can be shown by reviewing the conditions that night at a local home in Northern Mesa, which is in a well-developed part of town. On the outside edge of a covered patio a thermometer read 28 Fahrenheit at 3AM and 27 F. at 7AM. This equates to 4 full hours below 28 degrees. Temperatures out in the yard were most likely even colder. A bird bath accumulated over an inch of solid ice in it. A rare Phoenix area event.

No matter if your home needs help with heating or cooling Aaron’s Mechanical Services stands ready to help.

Aaron’s Mechanical Services Honors Washington’s Birthday

The third Monday in February is the Federal Holiday President’s Day, Right? No, officially it isn’t.  What is a Federal Holiday is Washington’s Birthday.  They have tried to make it President’s day several times.  But it has never actually happened.  Most people and many states have decided to call this day, the third Monday in February President’s Day.

What do you know about George Washington?

Washington's ancestors were from Sulgrave, England; his great-grandfather, John Washington, had emigrated to Virginia in 1657. George's father Augustine was a slave-owning tobacco planter who later tried his hand in iron-mining ventures. In George's youth, the Washingtons were moderately prosperous members of the Virginia gentry, of "middling rank" rather than one of the leading planter families. At this time, Virginia and other southern colonies had become a slave society, in which slaveholders formed the ruling class and the economy was based on slave labor.

Six of George's siblings reached maturity, including two older half-brothers, Lawrence and Augustine, from his father's first marriage to Jane Butler Washington, and four full siblings, Samuel, Elizabeth (Betty), John Augustine and Charles. Three siblings died before becoming adults: his full sister Mildred died when she was about one his half-brother Butler died while an infant, and his half-sister Jane died at the age of 12, when George was about 2. George's father died when George was 11 years old, after which George's half-brother Lawrence became a surrogate father and role model. William Fairfax, Lawrence's father-in-law and cousin of Virginia's largest landowner, Thomas, Lord Fairfax, was also a formative influence.

Robert Dinwiddie, lieutenant governor of colonial Virginia, was ordered by the British government to guard the British territorial claims including the Ohio River basin. In late 1753 Washington was ordered by Dinwiddie to deliver a letter asking the French to vacate the Ohio Valley; he was eager to prove himself as the new adjutant general of the militia, appointed by the Lieutenant Governor himself only a year before. During his trip Washington met with Tanacharison (also called "Half-King") and other Iroquois chiefs allied with England at Logstown to secure their support in case of a military conflict with the French; Washington and Tanacharison became friends. Washington delivered the letter to the local French commander Jacques Legardeur de Saint-Pierre, who politely refused to leave. Washington kept a diary during his expedition which was printed by William Hunter on Dinwiddie's order and which made Washington's name recognizable in Virginia. This increased notoriety helped him to obtain a commission to raise a company of 100 men and start his military career.

Washington opposed the 1765 Stamp Act, the first direct tax on the colonies, and began taking a leading role in the growing colonial resistance when protests against the Townshend Acts (enacted in 1767) became widespread. In May 1769, Washington introduced a proposal, drafted by his friend George Mason, calling for Virginia to boycott English goods until the Acts were repealed. Parliament repealed the Townshend Acts in 1770. However, Washington regarded the passage of the Intolerable Acts in 1774 as "an Invasion of our Rights and Privileges".

In July 1774, he chaired the meeting at which the "Fairfax Resolves" were adopted, which called for the convening of a Continental Congress, among other things. In August, Washington attended the First Virginia Convention, where he was selected as a delegate to the First Continental Congress.

And, as they say, the rest is history.

Learn More About Amana Heating and Cooling Equipment

Many people are familiar with the Amana® Brand Name but, they may think kitchen appliances rather than HVAC, Furnaces or Air Conditioners.

Americans have been relying on premium, long-lasting Amana® brand products since 1934, when Amana, Iowa, native George Foerstner accepted the challenge of building a dependable beverage cooler. Amana successfully met that challenge and, two years later, the company introduced another innovative product that soon became indispensable for commercial establishments such as grocery stores and restaurants – the walk-in beverage cooler, also known as a cold storage locker.

During World War II, the Amana brand received the Army-Navy “E” Award for Excellence for supplying the military with its walk-in coolers. As the war ended, its production shifted back to improvements for the home front with the development of freezers that were ideal for residential use. Branching out from the refrigeration field, the company soon became an American institution in the design and manufacture of a wide array of innovative commercial and residential appliances that have virtually revolutionized the quality of our lives. Among these products were the Amana Radarange®, the first portable counter-top microwave oven, as well as a top-quality line of heating and cooling products.

The residents of Amana, Iowa, began a long history of pioneering and craftsmanship, and that spirit continues today in the manufacturing of quality Amana Heating and Air Conditioning products. From the technology behind our unique Million-Air® heat exchanger to the inclusion of high-quality filter driers in each of our air conditioners and heat pumps, we remain committed to Amana’s legacy of providing homeowners with heating and cooling products that are built to last.

Repeatedly recognized as the brand behind some of the most energy-efficient gas furnaces, Amana Heating and Air Conditioning brand products are assembled in our facilities located in Tennessee and Texas.

Amana® - Reliability and Performance You Can Trust

With the Amana® brand, reliable and long-lasting product performance is their top priority. They achieve that goal through superior craftsmanship and world-class manufacturing processes, which help ensure that Amana brand products are the best they can provide to you. Does Your Energy Bill Break Your Budget?

How do you budget for the price of heating and/or cooling your home? Many utility companies offer some type of budget billing so that your energy cost is a set amount each moth year round.  That way for the year you know in advance what you will be spending every month.

At the end of your budget cycle (usually every 12 months) and based on your last year’s costs the utility company will re-calculate your costs and give you the schedule for the coming years monthly billings.

In nearly all cases this is done with no interest fees or carry costs. Many companies will have set months when you can start into the budget billing programs.

You need to contact your utility company or use their website to find out exactly how the program (if any) works in your area and at your actual address.

Below is an example of budget billing with one particular utility company. Budget Billing spreads your annual charges more evenly over 12 months.

Some companies even offer different programs that may have several options.

Options
Both options estimate and spread your charges over 12 months, with a review every six months.

People Think A Beautiful Landscape Makes Them Feel Warm And Fuzzy

Normally on Mondays we talk about what the National Weather Service is forecasting for the Phoenix Metro area for the coming week.  We are having such a mild winter we decided to talk about your spring planting plans.  You may wonder why we are doing that on a site that is all about saving you money on the cost of heating and cooling your home.  Well, we want to keep you warm, cozy and comfortable why not talk a bit about a good looking landscape around your home.

As the Phoenix Metro area heads towards spring time we know that you have many other projects that need your attention when it comes to maintaining your home.

Did You Know?

There are two main growing seasons in Phoenix: from mid February until the end of May, and from September to mid November. As a result, nation-wide planting calendars are ill adapted to our needs.

January is only real winter month in Phoenix.
Here is what to do in January:
- Spray dormant shrubs.
- Last chance to plant bare roots trees and shrubs.
- Prune roses and deciduous fruit trees.
- Monitor freeze warnings
- Plant summer bulbs.

Normally frost is possible until mid-February. (on a very rare occasion a frost can occur as late as the middle of March) The growing season starts then in Phoenix. Since the growing season is so short, don't lose time. You need to give as much time as possible to plants and trees to grow before the punishing summer heat.
- Weed prevention with pre-emergence herbicide.
- Complete rose and deciduous tree pruning.
- Start spring planting.

After the 15th of February
- Start fertilizing: use a calendar to keep track of your fertilization schedule.
- You can start planting frost tender plants and shrub.

Well there it is, spring planting tips from your friends at Aaron’s Mechanical Services.  No we aren’t the place to call for help with your grass and shrubs but we thought you might appreciate some tips about the outside look of your home.  We are the place to call for help with staying comfortable in your home – either keeping warm of staying cool.

Cool Arizona Places: Grand Canyon North Rim

Few places in Arizona has a more winter like climate than the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Many Arizonans think that it is completely closed during the winter months. That is not really accurate.  If is true that the National Park Service closes the “park’ on October 15th or earlier if snow closes the road.

The Grand Canyon North Rim retains a sense of solitude, a remote wilderness rich with scenic hiking trails and overlooks with spectacular vistas. The North Rim beckons day hikers, who want to traipse through meadow areas of willowy aspen and spruce trees, and breathe crisp, Alpine air – all under vast, blue skies.

But hiking, cross country skiing and camping can go on year round. Here are some winter activities you may want to consider. Trail info was current when written – February 5th 2014. Please check!

The North Rim Yurt is open for reservation.
The North Rim yurt, placed near the North Kaibab Trailhead, can be reserved from December 1 to April 15. The yurt accommodates six people and is outfitted with a table, chairs, and wood-burning stove. A portable toilet is nearby. Required permits are available through the Backcountry Information Center. For more information see www.nps/gov/grca/planyourvisit/winter-recreation.htm

Grandview Trail: Two inches or less of snow is on the ground at the trailhead. Ice and snow are on the trail down to the Coconino Saddle. Very icy and slick conditions, strongly recommend using over-the-shoe traction devices.

Tanner and New Hance Trails: Snow and ice for at least the first mile, over-the-shoe traction devices are strongly recommended.

South Kaibab Trail: About a half inch of snow is on the ground. Snow and ice on the trail until just above Ooh Aah Point. Over-the-shoe traction devices are recommended.

Bright Angel Trail: Dusting of snow at the trailhead. There is a compact layer of snow and ice for the first mile. Over-the-shoe traction devices are recommended.

North Kaibab Trail: A small section of the North Kaibab Trail below Supai Tunnel was damaged in September 2013 due to heavy rain. The North Kaibab Trail is currently open to hikers but not to stock below Supai Tunnel. Hikers should use caution. The damaged section is very narrow, but passable. The trail crew has installed a handline to assist hikers when crossing the narrow section. The handline stretches across the length of the washout, and then some (about 15 to 16 feet). The damaged section will not be repaired until spring 2014.

When hiking in winter be sure to visit the Winter Hiking webpage for winter hiking information. Weather and road conditions: http://nps.gov/grca/planyourvisit/weather-condition.htm

Yes, We Save Heating Costs, But…

During the winter we enjoy both wonderful weather, and we also get a respite from our summer cooling costs. Do you ever wonder what the trade-off is between our high cooling cost and the price of staying warm in one of our colder states?

We did some calculations with data from utility companies.  What follows is the base lines we used. We tried to stay conservative in both cases and we didn’t use a state that was known for the coldest of winters.  Yes, the Phoenix area has one of the hottest summer climates.

Square footage = 1,500 Square feet
Energy source; Phoenix AZ – Electricity • Bangor ME – Propane
Temperature set = 70 degrees
Well insulated dwelling
Does not consider the cost of domestic hot water
Cost based on total year
Maximum heat or cooling seven months and normal heating or cooling five months.

The numbers are – Phoenix $2,684 and Bangor $3,717 – I guess that means that Phoenix wins.

Did You Know?

Staying with our comparison cities

Average price of a gallon of milk – Phoenix $3.07 • Bangor $3.58*

Average price of 1 pound of bacon – Phoenix $4.84 • Bangor $5.54*

Average price of 1 pound of boneless chicken breast – Phoenix $3.29 • Bangor $3.48*

Average price of 1 pound of baby carrots – Phoenix $0.88 • Bangor $1.00 (both sale prices) from local grocery stores – Phoenix = Fry’s • Bangor = Shaw’s

*Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics | Mid-Atlantic and Western Region Information Offices

Average annual snowfall in Maine is 50 to 70 inches in the Coastal Division, 60 to 90 inches in the Southern Interior and 90 to 110 inches in the Northern Interior.

The annual snowfall in Arizona averages 100.3 inches placing Flagstaff among the snowiest incorporated cities in the United States. Average annual in the Phoenix Metro area is – well zero. Why do you think they call it the Valley of the Sun?

Did You Notice? Winter Has Returned To Phoenix

That’s Right! Winter has returned to the Phoenix Metro area.  The National Weather Service is predicting that our daytime high will be in the low sixties. Yup, that is winter weather for the Valley of the Sun.

In fact that is the predicted highs for the whole week of February 2nd through Friday the 7th. Get out the parkas and stock the firewood for the fireplace.

Our night time lows dip to just above freezing on Saturday the 8th. In some of the outlying areas you could even see freezing temperatures.

We don’t get back to the seventies until Sunday February the 9th.

Now the real big question, is your furnace or heating system ready to keep your home warm, cozy and comfortable? We have had a real mild winter so far.  Yes, we had a bit of a cold spell in December but January was about as mild as it could have been.

We want you to know that we can still help you with your heating needs. Aaron’s Mechanical Services is a quick phone call away at 623-388-4436. We are your “no shivering” promise provider. Get comfortable with Aaron’s Mechanical Services.

Did You Know?

Eating spicy foods can make you feel warmer. No, not just your mouth, spicy foods can speed up your metabolism and raise body heat, but only temporarily.

The extremely cold temperatures in much of the nation led to much slower automotive sales in January.

Drinking hot coffee and eating warm soups do help you feel warmer.  Nothing feels better on a cold day than your hands wrapped around a hot coffee cup.

A lack of sunlight, common in cold weather and cold climates, can cause “winter depression” in many individuals. This is also known as S.A.D., or seasonal affective disorder. Cravings for carbohydrate-rich foods are common. Rather than reaching for cake or cookies, the best choices for complex carbs include whole grain breads and pastas, brown rice, legumes, millet and whole oats.

To combat winter dehydration, a cup of warm tea is an excellent choice. Drinking tea counts toward a healthy daily intake of eight 8-ounce glasses of water. Ginger tea is a particularly good option, as this spice naturally warms your body.

A well maintained heating system saves you money on your utility bills and fuel costs.
