What Day Will You Need Your Furnace?

The national news is full of reports that a major storm is streaming into the northern states and flights are being cancelled right and left.

So what is the high expected in the Phoenix Metro Area today, November 10th? The National; Weather Service is predicting eighty-five degrees Fahrenheit for this afternoon.  They are also saying that the temperature will reach a high of just twenty degrees in Rapid City South Dakota. Wow sixty-five degrees colder. Brrrrr

Back to the title question… What Day Will You Need Your Furnace? This coming Sunday, November 16th the early morning hours will see a low of just forty-seven degrees.

Being all wrapped up and snug in your bed forty-seven doesn’t seem so cold.  But thinking about the tile on my bathroom floor and getting into the shower and I know I want my furnace running and keeping me warm.

Is your furnace ready to keep you warm?  Are Your Sure?

How was it running last spring when you turned it off? Have you fired it up and tested it yet?  Do you the correct and safe way to bring your furnace back online? Is there a diverter that needs opened or removed? Who needs to light your pilot light?

If you have a heat pump is all you need to do is switch from cool to heat?
