AZ Places – Buddy Stubbs Motorcycle Museum

Wow, here it is September and the television weatherman tells us that the next two days we will see the daytime highs in the 110 degree range.  Soon after the temperature will drop but it is offset with a decrease in humidity and that means we will be both hot and humid.  Which means we will be very uncomfortable.

If you are looking for a great place to cool off and get a great educational experience there is a great motorcycle museum to visit.  The Buddy Stubbs Motorcycle Museum is a great place to tour and see an interesting cross section of many brands and types of two wheeled transportation.

Buddy Stubbs isn't your ordinary motorcycle aficionado. Unlike your average weekend rider, the local motorcycle business owner has been riding these steel steeds pretty much since reportedly being born in the back room of his parents' Harley Davidson shop. The septuagenarian chopper fiend was raised around two-wheelers, began riding one at only 10 years of age, and went on to have a championship motorcycle career before opening his Cave Creek dealership in 1966. In addition to riding bikes for most of his life, Stubbs has spent decades accumulating arguably one of the biggest and best cycle collections in the entire Southwest. And he's more than happy to show off his collection to the public.

A guided Museum tour starts every Saturday at Noon. These tours are free, bring your camera and arrive a few minutes prior.

Please note that the last Saturday of every month is their Hogs & Dogs party. These tours may be more crowded. Please arrive early and speak with their receptionist to ensure your guided tour time.

If you'd like to arrange a private tour for groups of 10 or more, please email marketing@buddystubbs.com

The Southwest's Premier Motorcycle Museum with 3000+ sq. ft. of classic two-wheeled history is housed inside of the new 45,717 sq. ft. Buddy Stubbs Arizona Harley-Davidson facility. With over 30 different motorcycle manufacturers, this museum is a must see for all motorcycle enthusiasts. Make your plans to visit this collection of over 100 rare machines from 1903 through the 21st Century.
