Phoenix Arizona Does Too Have Four Seasons

I heard some folks talking about the climate (seasons) we have here in the Phoenix Metro area. They seemed to think we have two months of Heating Season.  That is followed by two months of No Heat needed. That is followed the six months of You Gotta Have Air Conditioning season. That is followed by the two months of No Cooling needed season.  They may just have something there.

Phoenix is the largest hottest metro area in the United States. While there are a few cities that are hotter than the Valley of the Sun they are much smaller in both population and area.

Las Vegas tends to be a close second in heat it smaller in both area and population.

While several metro areas in Texas are near in size they are not nearly as hot as Phoenix. Huston tends to have some days that are more uncomfortable due to the humidity levels.

Yes, Phoenix does tend to have what could be called a dry heat as our humidity can run in the low single digits.
