This is our second story on the Bearizona Wildlife Park. The first story was written because we had heard good things about Bearizona. Since it was that time of year (as in Hot in Phoenix) and the Bearizona Wildlife Park is located just outside Williams Arizona it was a perfect fit for one of our Cool Arizona Places blogs. We must update our Bearazona story after a real visit.
Is the Williams area cooler that Phoenix? We were there last Tuesday June 24th, the high in Williams was 81 degrees and the Phoenix Metro area was one-hundred-six degrees Fahrenheit. I know I can’t speak for our readers but 25 degrees cooler is perfect for me. Can I say, that among the tall pine pines and with just a hint of breeze blowing I think Bearizona was even cooler.
I would like to think that here at Aaron’s Mechanical Services we always try to exceed our customer’s expectation when it comes to AC Repair. After a visit with our Grandson… Bearizona Wildlife Park adventure DID exceed all of our expectations.
The photos and online descriptions, just don’t do the location or the experience justice.
Bearizona is a drive through wildlife park featuring an extensive collection of North American Wildlife. They also feature a walk through area with baby and smaller critters on exhibit.
Bearizona is a one-hundred-sixty acre drive through wildlife park experience starring two types of bears, both arctic and tundra wolves, bison (brown and white), mountain goats, Dahl sheep and much more. The winding three mile tour has been designed to feature the animals in their natural environment.
They also feature a walk through area, called Fort Bearizona, with baby and smaller critters on exhibit. A fun encounter for everyone is the bird show. You will be able to get up close to many different local birds. Or should I say the birds will be able to get up close and personal with you. Two ravens are also on hand to help make donations to the save the birds program
You sure don't want to miss the drive thru from one of their open window buses. You have a safe but wide open experience that is sure to thrill. If you want to shoot wildlife photos the bus tour is the way to go. Many of the animals are feed from the bus so they are comfortable coming right up below your open window.
Bearizona Wildlife Park is a MUST SEE northern Arizona experience.
