Sunrise Park is located close to the border with New Mexico. The resort consists of three mountains named Sunrise Peak, Cyclone Peak, and Apache Peak. Situated on the Colorado Plateau and perched atop the White Mountains in eastern Arizona, with a base of 9,200 feet and spread across 3 peaks and 800 acres, Sunrise tops out at 11,100 feet above sea level at Apache Peak.
Location: Sunrise Park Resort is located in the White Mountains of Eastern Arizona, within a short drive from Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque and El Paso. It is also accessible via air and scenic canyon and reservation routes.
From Phoenix - 218 miles
Mogollon Route: Take State Hwy 87 north to Payson. From Payson, take State Hwy 260 east following the Mogollon Rim to Show Low. At Show Low, continue on Hwy 260 through Pinetop-Lakeside and McNary to State Hwy 273. Turn Right on Hwy 273. Sunrise Park Lodge is four miles south on Hwy 273 and the Sunrise Ski Area is three miles past the lodge.
