Will This Weeks Heat Lead To AC Repair?

If you have looked at the National Weather Service forecast tor the Phoenix Metro area for the week of June 8th you know that the daytime highs for Monday and Tuesday are going to be at least one-hundred-ten degrees Fahrenheit.

We are supposed to see a real cool down here in the Valley of the Sun for Wednesday with the high reaching only 105 degrees.  Most parts of the country call one-hundred-five degrees Fahrenheit “dangerous”. Here it is just another summer day and a bit cooler at that.

Needless to say no matter what you call it the next seven days are going to give your air conditioner a real workout.  Is your AC unit ready for it?  We know you want your home to stay cool and comfortable and Aaron’s Mechanical Services is here to help.  Twenty-four / seven, we are just a phone call away at 623-388-4436.

Did You Know?

The Punta Gorda Ice Plant (also known as the Kazwells Furniture Store) is a historic ice plant in Punta Gorda, Florida, United States. It is located at 408 Tamiami Trail. Currently, it houses a pub and pizzeria. On December 12, 1990, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.  It was originally built in 1913.

Yes, some people really do fill a bowl with ice cubes and use a fan to blow air across the bowl to provide individual cooling.

Fishing boats store their catch in ice cooled tanks so that they can stay out and fish longer before heading back to the docks for the sale of the haul.

Slush ice is an extremely efficient cooling agent for fish. It is capable of reducing fish temperatures to 0 °C very rapidly. This type of ice is mostly used to stow fish in closed containers such as boxes or insulated tubs.

Cool sweet, and crunchy, nothing beats a shaved ice cone on a hot day at the county fair.

Why is your favorite flavor for shaved ices?

Ice cream's origins are known to reach back as far as the second century B.C., although no specific date of origin nor inventor has been indisputably credited with its discovery. We know that Alexander the Great enjoyed snow and ice flavored with honey and nectar. Biblical references also show that King Solomon was fond of iced drinks during harvesting. During the Roman Empire, Nero Claudius Caesar (A.D. 54-86) frequently sent runners into the mountains for snow, which was then flavored with fruits and juices.
