I like to get in the holiday spirit as I do my shopping. The cool temperatures sure seem to help it feel more like Christmas.  Going about and about with a light jacket feels more like winter weather than when we have to turn on the air conditioner in the car.

This time of year it is always a good idea to keep track of the projected (or forecast) overnight temperature.  Even in the Valley of the Sun you can get a fairly hard freeze every once in a while and that can cause havoc on your exposed water pipes.
