Murphy's law's corollary - "If there is a worse time for something to go wrong, it will happen then."
This time of year you can be reminded of Murphy’s law at any time of the day. It is that moment when you realize the heat and the quiet all at the same time. Your Air Conditioning should be running and it isn’t!
Your AC Unit will never pick a good time to fail, no, not ever. It will be the hottest day and the worse time. At least that is the way it seems. A good AC Tune Up can help prevent or at least delay a visit from Murphy.
When I listened to the weather forecast this morning it was “Hot & Dry” for the next seven days. With the average day-time high running 106 degrees to 109 degrees. If that isn’t a good start for Murphy’s Law then I don’t know what is.
A hot day and a quiet Air Conditioner is not what you want to experience this summer. At Aaron’s Mechanical Service we want to prevent a visit from Murphy.
One story of how Murphy’s Law got its name. Edward A. Murphy, Jr. was one of the engineers on the rocket-sled experiments that were done by the U.S. Air Force in 1949 to test human acceleration tolerances (USAF project MX981). One experiment involved a set of 16 accelerometers mounted to different parts of the subject's body. There were two ways each sensor could be glued to its mount, and somebody methodically installed all 16 the wrong way around. Murphy then made the original form of his pronouncement, which the test subject (Major John Paul Stapp) quoted at a news conference a few days later.
Remember, If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
The cost of an AC Tune-up and a night at a motel are similar, where do you want to spend your money?
At Aaron’s Mechanical Service we want you to stay cool even in the hottest parts of an Arizona summer. If your AC unit needs service or replacement please think of us and call at 623 -388-4436 and we can come to you and solve your air conditioning repair needs.
