For 2012 the event is on April 21st and will be held at the Surprise Recreation Campus / Surprise Stadium at 15860 North Bullard Avenue. The event runs from 8:00 Am until 1:00 PM.
There will be many Green Business, Health and Fitness Vendors.
This year at nearby Dream Catcher Park there will be a Free Shred-a-Thon Event. Shredding sensitive documents is one way to reduce your risk of becoming an identity theft victim. Attend a free community shred event to keep your personal information out of the hands of crooks.
Most shred events permit individuals to bring up to two file boxes or three grocery bags of documents. American Shredding will shred any paper products, as long as there are no metal clips larger than wire paper clips on the paper. Electronics will be collected on site as well. The Shred-a-Thon will be held just East of Dream Catcher Park, off of Tierra Buena and Civic Center Plaza.
